Lloren\u00e7 Tom\u00e0s was the first owner of the space and its builder, turning it into his workshop. Thus it was projected by the architect Andr\u00e9s M. Calzada Echevarr\u00eda (1892-1938), standing out among his works in Barcelona: the Madurell House in the street Provenza, 371 in 1926, the Tomas Colom Warehouses in Llull street in March 1928 and in collaboration with Jos\u00e9 Maria Jujol Gibert, the Palace of Labor (later of Clothing), in the Plaza de Espa\u00f1a, for the International Exposition of Barcelona in 1929.<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In 1999, Matilda was born as a restaurant, offering since then a wide gastronomic offer with first quality material through the concept of a new cuisine, the neo-restaurant, offering the best grilled dishes on the market.
